1. Master the Scrum Guide: Read it multiple times. The PSM I exam is based entirely on the Scrum Guide 2020.

2. Understand, Don't Memorize: Focus on understanding WHY Scrum works, not just what it contains.

3. Take Open Assessments: Scrum.org's free assessments are excellent practice - aim for consistent 100% scores.

4. Know the Timeboxes: Memorize the maximum durations for all Scrum events.

5. Focus on Accountabilities: Understand what each role is responsible for - and what they're NOT responsible for.
